Mudiay in Traffic. 3/11/18 Madison Square Garden, New York, New York
I wish I could say I took this shot while on assignment, but really it was just a shot from decent seats at a Knicks game on a Sunday afternoon. Tickets are not too difficult to get- a trend in recent years when it starts to get late in the season- and I was able to finagle my 70-300mm lens into the Garden to capture this shot.
Emmanuel Mudiay- a young, promising point guard that the Knicks recently traded for as part of yet another rebuild- is seen here driving to the basket, trying to make a play against DeMar DeRozen (right) and the first place Toronto Raptors. Consistent with the theme of the day, it leads to a turnover. The Raptors get the ball and ultimately the win 132-106.
At least the seats were good.
